How the audio tour works:



1) Audience participants choose one of four different
characters and pick up their CD/mp3 players, 
printed instructions, and bag of props.

2) They go home.

3) At 7.45pm, they follow the instructions
on the printed piece of paper. 

4) At 8pm, audience participants all around
the city in their own homes, open their
refridgerator door and press play.

5) They "become" the one of four different characters
they have chosen.

6) They are led by the voice over the headphones
around their home and through the city as the 
character until they arrive to Cafe Bon Bon.

7) The show and backrooms

8) At the end of the night, when the audience leaves
Cafe Bon Bon, they are given a CD to listen to 
whenever they want.  It is a recorded "screenplay"
of how the four tour characters might have 
experienced the night in Cafe Bon Bon.

Gerald

Teenager. 13 years old.
student. white. 
For a year now he has been living in a 
boys group home with six other teenagers. 
he did a favor for his only friend 
and has landed himself in trouble. 
He sneaks out of the home 
to see if he can 
fix the situation.

Lucien

man. 43 years old. 
Raised in London. 
Comes from a nigerian diplomats family. 
High level manager 
at a well known company. Black.
His wife died a year ago yesterday. 
He's not had a lover in 
over a year and a half. 
He has to get out tonight.

Umar

Man. 22 years old. 
Carpenter. From the Fulani Tribe in Nigeria.
Fled from religious violence. 
Was caught on the Austrian border 
on his way to Germany. 
He's alone in a refugee home full of people. 
He gets work about a contact 
that might help him. 
he heads out to find the person.

Cheryl

Woman. 35 years old
Bartender. White.
 She woke up in the late 
afternoon with a hangover. 
there's money on the table 
and two hjalf empty wine glasses. 
she doesn't remember a thing.
 confused, she she hurries to make
 sure she gets to work on time.
