ON EARTH - Short Description
On Earth is about traveling and the meeting of different worlds. More specifically, it is a piece about the stories behind traveling: the pathways that each of us take to arrive to this very moment where we are right now. How did I arrive here? How did those surrounding me arrive here? On Earth tries to make the invisible life-stories that have led up to any one moment, visible: revealing the possible connections that bind all of us who share intersecting worlds, together.
ON EARTH - Kurzbeschreibung
On Earth handelt vom Reisen und der Begegnung mit unterschiedlichsten Lebenswelten. Genauer gesagt ist es ein Stück über die Geschichten hinter dem Reisen: die Wege auf denen jede/r von uns dorthin gekommen ist, wo wir gerade sind. On Earth versucht die unsichtbaren Lebensgeschichten, die zu jedem dieser Momente des Ankommens geführt haben, sichtbar zu machen, und so die möglichen Verbindungen die uns alle, deren Lebenswelten sich überschneiden, verbinden.
LIFE ON EARTH
We will place a Trailer (Wohncontainer) in the Kaiser Ebersdorfer Kaserne in the village of Macondo - a village / refugee center in the 11th District of Vienna. The Trailer will be set up to live in - hooked up with water, electricity and furniture and will be placed either in Ramon Villalobos’ Garden or in the Lot next to it with a view of the Soccer Field and in plain view of everyone who lives in Macondo. Cabula6 and invited Collaborators will use the Trailer as a base to be in Macondo over the course of 8 months to sleep, live, meet people and work with them.
