Concept continued (swarm theory and eixam)How Swarm Theory relates to EixamWe have attempted to approach the theme of swarm logic and system phenomena in two different ways:1) on the level of story2) on the level of audience organization
On the level of story, we have explored two individuals who are simply living out their local personal experiences. Desires, ambitions, disappointments, competition, fears, etc. The same as everyone. And we have suggested a line between those simple actions and a greater collective force, a swarm, void of a recognizable human face yet which is born to some degree out of their simple human longings and actions. On the level of audience organization, we recognize that we actually have a group at our disposal, replete with characteristic group dynamics. Which in turn can approximate the way in which swarms function. The audience can, in effect, represent the swarm in the story. That is, as a group, play a character. |
